M.O.V.E.!

Last July 19, 2009, the Philippine Academy of Rehabilitation Medicine joined the nation in celebrating the 31st National Disability Prevention and Rehabilitation Week by spearheading the M.O.V.E Manila Run 09 as a pledge to supporting persons with disabilities (PWD’s) specifically to sponsor wheelchair athletes. Faculty members and students from the UERMMMCI College of Physical Therapy along with the other Rehabilitation Medicine Institutions, such as UP Manila, UST College of Sports and Rehabilitation Sciences, and Makati Medical Center - Department of Rehabilitation Medicine participated and supported the said endeavor. The event took place at the University of the Philippines, Diliman at 5:00 am. Categories of the said Run included 2.2 km, 5 km and 10 km.
