The College of Physical Therapy hosted a workshop on Community First Aid Training and (Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation) CPR on November 29, 2008 as taught by fellow alumnus, Edward Cyril Cuenca, PTRP (1998). Among the participants were College of PT Alumni, new PT graduates, and Barangay workers from nearby barangays.
Participants received two certification cards by the American Safety and Health Institute:
1. Basic First Aid: Pediatric First Aid, Adult First Aid, and Universal First Aid
2. CPR Pro: Adult CPR AED, Child CPR AED, Infant CPR

The lecture opened to a packed audience in the Auditorium of the New College of Nursing Building.The College has done it again! The latest batch of PT hopefuls from UERMMMC College of Physical Therapy performed well, as always. The College landed the 4th place among top performing schools in the Philippines (10 - 50 applicants). We netted a 76% passing percentage against the national passing rate of 48.29%.
