Alumnus donates laptop to college

A generous alumnus who requested to remain anonymous has donated a laptop to the UERM College of PT. The laptop would help the faculty & staff in their lectures & multimedia presentations to students. The other laptop of the college is also being used by the students during class presentations & reports. The college would appreciate & acknowledge similar acts of generosity from the alumni in the future. Thank you to the anonymous alumnus.

UERMMMC PT grad 10th place in the July 2006 PT/OT boards; UERM passing percentage 87%

Michael De Vega Resuello garnered 10th place in the recent PT/OT boards given last July 29 & 30, 2006. Mr. Resuello graduated class salutatorian. 577 out of a total 1,419 examinees passed the boards. The national passing rate is 41%. The UERMMMC College of PT ranked 4th among the PT schools with an 87% passing percentage. Distinguished UERM professor honored

After 17 years of unprecedented service, Dr. Esperanza Carague-Lansang finally retired as professor of UERM College of Physical Therapy. A simple but momentous testimonial dinner was given last May 22, 2006 at Dulcinea, Tomas Morato, Q.C. To commemorate her outstanding service as educator, mentor & friend, a plaque of appreciation was presented to her as token of the whole UERM community's gratitude. Truly fitting for this one of a kind "woman". Video messages coming from Joan Duka & Walter Rivera, former PT faculties now based in the US & UK respectively were also shown. Present during the occasion were the UERM College of Physical Therapy faculty, Dean Arnel V. Malaya & Dr. Juan Alcazaren (former UERM College of Physical Therapy dean) as special guest - (article contributed by Rongie "The Man" Magdangal).

Karl Vincent Nuque - UERM PT Alumni Association President for life?

Karl Vincent Nuque - a UERM PT alumni and current faculty is being touted as the alumni president for life. Among the numerous projects & activities during his term are: ??? or better yet email Karl at coyakarl@lycos.com to inquire because most of his projects are in the planning stage & have yet to be implemented. Securities & exchange commission registration of the alumni association is still pending as are the other plans for the alumni association. The only regular activity of the alumni association is the annual oath taking of the PT graduates for induction into the UERM PT alumni association during the graduation ceremonies.
