Community Trivia
So, what's new in the College?
Did you know...
- Community Based Rehabilitation is now included in our curriculum (Clinical Education - CBR).
- We have currently (2) communities where we send interns for Community Based Rehabilitation. Barangay Malaria in Northern Caloocan and a set of depressed areas in Antipolo City.
Barangay Malaria is in partnership with PhilCOCHED, a non-government organization affiliated with Leonard Cheshire Disability in the U.K. It is near the former Tala Leprosarium (now Dr. Jose N. Rodriguez Memorial Hospital) and is noted for its significant population of children with chronic disability.
In Antipolo City, we currently service Barangays Inarawan and San Isidro together with the College of Medicine interns.
